Appreciation post: the guy at my local shop in Tulsa handed me a copy of Saga #1 for cover price
I walked into a small shop on 15th street in Tulsa about 3 months ago just to kill time, and the owner pulled a long box out from behind the counter. He said a regular had dropped off his whole run and told him to pass the early issues to someone who would actually read them instead of bagging and flipping them. I paid $3 for Saga #1 and read it that same night, then went back the next week for the rest. Now I bring him my doubles instead of dumping them online. Has anyone else had a shop owner do something like this, or is my guy just weird in the best way?
