Why does nobody talk about debugging with print statements over console.log
Just spent 3 nights trying to figure out why my Python script kept skipping a loop. I kept using the debugger in VS Code and it was driving me nuts with all the breakpoints and stepping through stuff. Then my buddy said just throw a print in there. Took 5 minutes to see the issue was a variable name typo. Now I'm a full convert to print statements for small scripts, has anyone else found the debugger makes things worse when you're just starting out?
