Spent $199 on a coding bootcamp prep course that was just YouTube videos
I paid $199 for a beginner coding course last fall because the site promised live mentors and a job guarantee, but every lesson was a free YouTube video I could have found myself in 10 minutes. The mentor chat was a bot that just replied "great job, keep going" no matter what I typed. Has anyone found a beginner course that actually teaches you to build stuff instead of just watching someone else do it?
