Found out Python is older than I am, and I learned to code on it at 34
Honestly I was messing around on the Python website last Tuesday and saw it came out in 1991, which means the language I'm learning on my lunch break is older than me and I'm 38. I sat there in my kitchen in Reno just staring at my laptop because my whole life I figured coding tools were these brand new things that teenagers invented last year. My first try at a tutorial was on a language that got discontinued before I even finished the second lesson, so that was a rough start. It kind of makes me wonder how many people my age gave up just because they thought this stuff was only for kids. Did any of you start learning way later than most people and still stick with it?
