The bus stop bench that made me rethink my whole commute route

Last Tuesday I was waiting at the 5th and Main stop and this old dude sitting next to me said 'you know this bench faces the sun at 7 AM but the one around the corner gets shade till 9, no wonder everyone's grumpy here.' I switched routes for three days and honestly the morning vibe is way different, like people actually talk to each other instead of squinting at their phones. Anyone else ever change a tiny daily habit and find a totally new side of their neighborhood?
