Vent: My neighbor thinks carpet glue fumes are poisoning her plants
Every time I'm on a job near her house, she comes out to move her potted flowers! I told her the adhesive is low-VOC and safe, but she doesn't believe me. Now I start early to avoid the midday drama, which actually works better for the install! It's wild how a simple chat turned into a whole routine.

Remember when my buddy Mark's grandma swore her TV remote was giving her roses blight? She started keeping it in a ziplock bag across the room.

Love that logic because blaming the remote for garden problems is next level. She clearly connected two things that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. The ziplock bag solution really sells the commitment to the bit.

Actually, low-VOC glue can still cause headaches for some people.

But honestly, how much harm could those fumes really do? After hearing @sullivan.lisa's story about the remote and the roses, it sounds like the same kind of jump in logic. The glue is low-VOC, so it's made to be safe, like you said. She's probably just worrying over nothing (which people do all the time). Changing your whole work schedule for that seems like a lot. People get hung up on the weirdest causes without real proof.
