Pro tip: watched a guy in Pueblo test every drop line before he crimped anything, and it stuck with me
Was tagging along on a 6 unit MDU job in Pueblo about 3 months back and this older installer named Ray would hit every drop with his meter before he touched a single connector. I used to just crimp and pray, then chase signal issues later. Since then I test first on every drop and my callback rate has dropped a lot. Any of you run into a trick like that from an old timer that you still use?
