Just realized a bad compression fitting on a drop ceiling cost me 4 hours and a soaked fleece
Ran a run through a drop ceiling at a strip mall in Beaverton and the fitting wasn't fully seated, so it blew apart the second I charged the line with the compressor. Water came down through the tiles and soaked my fleece, and I had to pull half the ceiling grid down to find the leak. Took me about 4 hours total between the cleanup, the redo, and explaining the wet tiles to the property manager. Now I pressure test every ceiling drop before I button anything up, but has anyone found a faster way to check fittings up in a tight grid?
