That Tuesday when the glue failure cost me an entire oak kitchen
Last month in Cincinnati, I finished a custom oak pantry unit, let it cure overnight, and came back to find the face frame joints had popped clean apart. The glue bottle looked fine but it was old stock from a supplier I'd used for 8 years, probably sat in a cold warehouse all winter. It cost me $1,400 in materials and a full day of rework, plus the client almost pulled the whole project. Has anyone else had a bad batch of adhesive wreck a job, and how do you test a new bottle before committing to a big piece?
