Spent $800 on a new vacuum stuffer and it's the best money I've ever wasted
I thought my old hand crank was fine, but this thing saves me over an hour on a 50lb batch of sausage. What's the one tool you bought that you now can't live without?

Is it really a waste if it saves you that much time? I get the hand crank works, but an hour back in your day is huge. My game changer was a cheap bench scraper. It sounds dumb, but cleaning my counter after rolling dough or cutting meat went from a ten minute wipe down to thirty seconds. Some tools just make the work feel less like a chore.

I read an article about how the right tool doesn't just save time, it changes your whole mood about the task. My immersion blender for soups is like that, it turns a messy job into something quick. That feeling of not dreading the work is worth way more than the money.

My own kitchen confession is a garlic press. For years I thought it was a silly gadget, but now I use it almost daily. It completely changed my mood about cooking anything that starts with garlic, which is most things. I went from hating that sticky mincing step to actually looking forward to it.
