Spent $280 on a used meat saw from an auction in Kansas City and it cut like garbage from day one
Bought it sight unseen off an online auction, 280 bucks plus gas to drive out and get it. Got it back to my shop and the blade wandered so bad I couldn't get a straight chop on a pork shoulder. Turns out the guide bearings were shot and the table wasn't true. Parts alone would've run me another 400. Tried to get my money back, auction house said all sales final, which I knew, but still. Ended up parting it out and made maybe 90 back. Anyone got a good way to check a used saw before you commit? I'm not driving 3 hours again for a maybe.
