My old index pages got destroyed and I had to rebuild on the fly

I was on a flight to Portland last month, notebook in my lap, and my coffee tipped over right onto my index page. It blurred about 3 months of future log entries and some keys I actually needed. I sat there for a second, then tore out the page and used the back cover to make a fresh index with just the next 6 weeks. Took maybe 10 minutes with a pen and a ruler, but it made me rethink how much detail I really need in there. Now I keep a spare index template folded in the back pocket of my notebook, just in case. Anyone else had a whole page ruined and had to improvise a replacement?
