The cashier at Aldi showed me my own budget blind spot

I was paying for groceries last Tuesday and she scanned my stuff, then asked if I'd seen the markdown rack near the dairy. I hadn't, but it's saved me about $18 a week since. Has anyone else found a hidden discount section like that at their local store?

Honestly, that's a solid find, but the real blind spot is most people never check the markdown rack at the very back of the store, not the one near the dairy. The one by the meat counter or the bakery gets picked over by noon, but the one crammed in the corner by the cleaning supplies usually has older stock that's still perfectly good. Tbh, the stuff there is often marked down twice because no one sees it, so you can grab bread or produce for like 30 cents. Ngl, I've started doing a full loop of the whole store just to check every single clearance spot before I hit the register. That cashier did you a favor, but there's probably a second hidden rack by the frozen aisle too, so do a sweep next time.
