I kept blowing my $90 weekly food budget until I figured out my store marks down meat at 8am sharp, not in the evening like everyone thinks. Last Tuesday I grabbed 3 pounds of 85/15 ground beef for $4.50 a pack instead of $8.99 because I showed up right at opening. The evening crowd picks those coolers clean before dinner, so anyone shopping after work is paying full price for the same stuff. Talk to the meat counter guy and ask when they sticker, it takes one question. Anyone else figure out their store's schedule, and what time does yours do it?
