I stood at this tiny coffee counter on SE Division and the barista handed me a flat white when I asked for a cortado, then said 'you look like a flat white person' with zero hesitation, and honestly that small miss made me rethink why I even care about the exact drink when the interaction felt more real than any perfect pour, has anyone else had a stranger's wrong guess stick with them like that?
