Saw a guy torque his boiler manway to spec with a $12 beam wrench and a cheater pipe, saved him a full day
He couldn't get a torque multiplier on site in time in Gary, Indiana, so he marked the beam, added pipe length, and hit 200 ft-lbs by math instead of guessing with a slug wrench. Anyone else doing the beam wrench math thing or do most of you just wait on the right tool?
