Just dropped $260 on a tube roller and I am honestly not sure it was worth it
Bought a used rotary tube roller off a guy in Gary for $260 about 6 weeks back. My old hand roller was killing my forearms on a 40 foot run of 2 inch boiler tube and I figured this thing would pay for itself on one job. Reality check: the power feed is nice but setup eats 20 minutes per job and I still end up finessing the last few inches by hand. Anyone else running a roller like this and got tips to cut the setup time down? Or did I just buy a $260 shelf ornament?
