I grabbed one of those fancy magnetic mounts at a rest stop outside Philly for $89 because my old clip one kept slipping, and it held for exactly two days before my phone hit the floor mat on I-95. Turned out the adhesive melted in the heat and the magnet was way weaker than the box claimed, so I'm back to the cup holder like a chump. Anyone found a mount that actually survives a hot car and a pothole, or am I just throwing money at plastic?
