Just realized my $9 antenna beats my parents' $70 streaming bundle for local channels
I used to think you needed a big streaming package to get live TV, especially for football and the local news. My parents pay around $70 a month for theirs and they still complain about buffering during games. I grabbed a $9 flat antenna off Amazon, stuck it on the wall by the window, and got 42 channels clear as day. The weird thing is I put off trying one for like 6 months because I assumed cheap meant garbage. Now I am wondering what else I have been overpaying for. Anyone in a city with tall buildings had trouble keeping the signal steady, or is it just a placement thing?
