Straight razor vs. safety razor for my own shave, I finally switched

I spent 6 years doing full straight razor shaves on myself every morning in Phoenix, thinking it was the only professional way. But after a bad wrist strain last month, I grabbed a safety razor from my kit just to get through the week. Honestly, the shave quality was 90 percent there, and the time went from 20 minutes down to 8. Now I only break out the straight for clients who ask for it, my wrist thanks me daily. Has anyone else made this switch and kept the straight blade for show or special requests?
