Warning: spent $75 on a patio mister in Phoenix and it's either the best $75 or the worst
Three weeks ago I grabbed a $75 misting kit for my covered patio here in Phoenix, and my wife says it dropped the temp by 15 degrees while my neighbor Rick swears it just makes the chairs damp and attracts mosquitoes. Part of me thinks a cheap $40 box fan does the same job for half the price, but part of me thinks misters are the only way to sit outside in July without dying. Curious what people here did, did you go mister or fan or just give up on the backyard until October?
