My raised bed fell apart after one storm and I am not sure what to do next
I built my first raised bed out of cedar 2x6s in my backyard in Cincinnati back in April and it looked great for about two months. Then a big storm came through and the whole side panel bowed out and dumped a bunch of dirt and my pepper plants right onto the lawn. I used screws every 12 inches and thought that would be enough but apparently not because the wood was already wet and heavy. Now I am trying to figure out if I should rebuild the whole thing with corner braces or if I just need to line the inside with something to hold the soil back. Has anyone dealt with this and found a cheap fix that actually holds up through a full season?
