My $30 soil blocker beat the seed trays after one season

I almost didn't try it because it looked gimmicky. But after three rounds of leggy seedlings in plastic trays, I picked one up at a garden swap in Boise. The cubes hold water way better and the roots air prune naturally, no more transplant shock. I planted 80% of my starts last spring and ended up with sturdier tomatoes than ever. Has anyone else switched and noticed a difference with their brassicas?
