I finally stopped fighting with rusty bleed screws after a $12 trick

Used to spend 20 minutes on each caliper with heat and vice grips, swearing the whole time. Last month at a buddy's shop in Tacoma, he showed me tapping the bleeder with a hammer before even touching a wrench. It sounds stupid but the shock breaks the corrosion loose, now they crack free on the first try nine times out of ten. Anyone else got a dumb cheap trick that saves them an hour on every brake job?
