Stacking 200 photos vs 50, does it really make a difference or am I wasting my time?
I shot the Orion Nebula from my backyard in Ohio last Friday and stacked 200 frames, then compared it to a 50-frame stack from the same night. The detail difference was tiny, but the noise was way smoother, so is the extra hour of capture actually worth it for most of us or are we just obsessing over numbers?

Did you count the photons saved per minute of sleep lost, or are we just measuring our dedication to the hobby in hours of clear skies wasted?
