Got food poisoning from a gas station sushi roll in Elko, now I read every health inspection score before I eat anywhere
Stopped in Elko, Nevada on a drive to Salt Lake and grabbed a $6 spicy tuna roll from a gas station cooler. 14 hours later I was hugging a motel toilet. Now I look up every spot's last inspection grade and I walked out of a taco place near my house when the guy wouldn't show me one. Does anyone else check scores before trying new places or am I just paranoid now?
Gas station sushi in Elko is a bold move, that's like playing Russian roulette with a tuna roll. But hey, at least you got a $6 lesson that most people pay way more for. Checking scores is just smart now, not paranoid.
