Went from guessing capacitor sizes to actually testing them, game changer

For years I just swapped caps based on the schematic and hoped for the best. Got burned twice on a Fridgidaire fridge compressor start relay, the replacement looked fine but the microfarad rating was off. Last month I finally bought a proper capacitance meter for $45 at a local supply house in Omaha. Now I test every cap before ordering, takes like 2 minutes with the board pulled. Saved me a second trip on a Samsung washer that had a weird readout and a cap that tested 20% low. The old way was just playing roulette with customer time and my gas money. Anyone else still flying blind on this or do you always meter before you swap?

Flying blind" was my whole life too. Meter changed everything, never going back.
