One week in Austin almost made me quit, the next one saved it

Last Wednesday in Austin I had back to back dishwasher jobs. One was a simple bad water inlet valve on a 5 year old Whirlpool, the other was a leak that turned out to be a cracked sump from a bad install, homeowner kept arguing with me about the cost. That same day I had a no-show for a scheduled dryer repair, then got a call from a lady in Round Rock who had already tried 3 other techs, she actually listened and thanked me for explaining the part before ordering it. Between the folks who want photos of every screw and the ones who just hand you the key, which type do you find takes less of your time on the job?
