Went to that new anime cafe in Portland and saw something wild

I used to think those themed cafes were just overpriced gimmicks, but the one on 3rd Ave changed my mind. They had a whole wall dedicated to fan theories for 'Chainsaw Man' written on sticky notes, and the detail was crazy. One theory about Power's real name had a full timeline drawn out. It made me realize how deep some discussions get outside of online forums. Has anyone else seen a physical space that actually gets anime talk right?

Wait a full timeline on sticky notes? That's some next level dedication right there.

That timeline thing reminds me of a bar downtown with a chalkboard wall for movie arguments. Saw two guys spend an hour mapping out the entire Alien vs Predator timeline, complete with arrows and question marks. It was a beautiful mess.

Seriously though, is a wall of sticky notes really that impressive? People are acting like it's a museum exhibit when it's just fans writing stuff down. I've seen those theory posts online and most of them are just made up for fun. A timeline doesn't make it true or even that deep. It feels like we're giving out prizes for basic effort now.
