The recruiter who told me to stop chasing keywords
After my 8th rejection last spring, a hiring manager in Denver finally said I sounded like a search engine, not a human. I rewrote my whole portfolio intro to explain the story behind my projects instead of stacking terms, and got 3 interviews in one month. Has anyone else gotten blunt feedback that made you realize the algorithm was training you to write for it?
