My phone started routing me a different way to client houses and it freaked me out
Last week I noticed my maps app started sending me down this weird side street to get to a regular client in Portland, adding about 4 minutes but avoiding a left turn I always took. I figured whatever, maybe there's construction. Then Tuesday it did the same thing on a totally different route, and Wednesday it suggested I leave 12 minutes earlier than usual for a job I've done every other week for 2 years. I never changed any settings and I didn't update the app, so something on their end decided my old route was worse. Now I keep wondering what else it's quietly adjusting that I don't notice, and it's making me not trust my own sense of the city. Has anyone else had an app reroute them for no clear reason and just never explain why?
