Spent three days chasing a phantom hydraulic leak on a 737

Turns out it was just a slightly over-torqued fitting on the brake accumulator that was weeping under pressure. Anyone else had a simple fix hide behind a massive time sink like that?

Bet the real kicker is how that tiny weep can make a whole system look empty after a few cycles. Seen a similar thing on a potable water drain valve, a few drops each flight looked like a major leak on the paperwork.

Classic. Reminds me of the time we spent a whole shift looking for a fuel smell in the cabin. It was just a spilled coffee creamer packet under a seat.

Honestly @jenny47, did the crew ever find out what kind of creamer caused that whole fuel smell panic?
