Oil pooled under my basket after 40 frozen wings and I caught it before dinner

Last Friday I did two back to back batches of wings at 400 degrees in my Ninja 4 quart, and around batch two I noticed a slick puddle forming on the counter under the drawer. Turned the whole thing over on the mat and the little rubber plug on the bottom of the basket had come loose, so hot grease was dripping straight out the side seam. I tossed the wings, wiped everything down, and now I line the pull out basket with a sheet of foil under the crisper plate so I can see leaks fast. Has anyone else had a plug pop loose like that, and did you just push it back in or replace the basket?
