My grandma's trick for crispy chicken wings in the air fryer, and why I still think about it
She said to toss them in a little baking powder before they go in, and that one tip from her kitchen back in 2019 is the only reason my wings come out right. Has anyone else tried that or is there a better way to get them crunchy?
Man, baking powder is way overrated for wings and I'll die on that hill. It can leave a weird chalky taste if you use too much, and honestly a dry brine in the fridge overnight gets you the same crisp without any of that risk. Maybe it's just me but the fridge trick works every single time and you don't have to worry about measuring anything.
