Appreciation post: My 25 year old manure spreader taught me something a new one never could
I bought a beat up old spreader at an auction in Lancaster for $380 back in 2019, mostly as a joke because the paint was gone and the apron chain looked like it came off a battleship. Last week I realized the thing has run 9 full seasons without a single breakdown, while my buddy's newer spreader with all the bells and whistles has been in the shop 4 times in 2 years. Anyone else running old gear that just refuses to quit on them?
