I was going through old papers in a shoebox last week and found her W-2 that I never looked at, and it hit me that I had no clue what the income limit even was back then. I filed it myself with free software in about 20 minutes and just clicked through the questions without reading them, which is probably why it happened, but now I keep wondering how many other times I did that. Has anyone else gone back and found a mess like this, and did you fix it or just let it go?
